Here I used once again my "Few Colours, lots of white"-Concept. I like working on dark grey, because on an grey background every other colour stands out beautifully.
I mixed pretty many techniques, so I hope it's placed in the right category. First, I made a drawing with pencil, then I gave it a new background, set the highlights, altered and pasted in roses taken from a free graphics-Book and coloured them in different ways. In the end, I set the "fireflies". The girl is inspired by a fashion photography I've seen some years ago, as well as her dress (I made a sketch of her to use it some day). The motive itself was inspired by a friend who needed an artwork with a mirror for her band. Thinking about her and her music, I made a night picture in a rose garden. Again, I'm very happy if I you spare time for commenting ^^ Thank you. |
